Imaging Department – Radiographer - Band 5

Full Time substantive post.

We are looking for enthusiastic Diagnostic Radiographers to join our large but friendly team at North Bristol NHS Trust as part of the Plain Imaging team.

The state of the art Brunel Building at Southmead Hospital is a Centre of excellence for the South West in a range of services and major specialties. Our pioneering treatments and advances in care have won international recognition, placing North Bristol NHS Trust at the forefront of medical knowledge. .
Every year we carry out just over 400,000 Imaging examinations ranging from simple GP requests, via our walk-in service, through to complex Trauma cases as well as our regional specialties including neurosciences, orthopaedic and renal.

You may be a newly qualified Radiographer or established Radiographer looking for a new challenge. You must be HCPC registered with evidence of completed and planned CPD. As a Band 5 Radiographer you will be expected to contribute to a 24/7 shift system with on-call commitments and have involvement in community working practices.

North Bristol NHS Trust offers a diverse and challenging work environment in which the Radiographer can consolidate and build their skills. The Imaging department encourages cross modality working practices in CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiology, and supports career advancement with recent internal promotion opportunities for suitably qualified Radiographers.
