The Informatics Project Support Manager will provide project management support for a £10 million Capital Informatics led programme of work. This will involve supporting a team of 8 experienced Project Managers in various aspects of their jobs including, business case development, all planning of activities, risk and issue management, monitoring and co-ordination of tasks, negotiation and conflict management, resource management and financial management.

This should be achieved through the appropriate project management methodology and best practise within the profession, involving the production of project plans, project initiation documents, document control, reporting managing and guidance for project teams through the project lifecycle.

The role will also involve providing a business support role and administrative assistance to the project managers.

As well as working directly with the project managers, this role will also work closely with other members of the wider project team including team leaders, programme managers and the project management office.

The post will also offer admin and clerical support to the Assistant Director of Informatics Programmes.
