Senior Clinical Fellow in Robotic Urology (ST7+)

The Bristol Urological Institute wishes offer an exciting opportunity to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Urology with special interest in Robotic Urology with emphasis on pelvic oncology to commence in April 2019 for a period of 12 months. The post is best suited for trainees at the end of their urological training or post-CCT and wish to pursue a sub-specialty career in uro-oncology with emphasis on Robotic Surgery. The post offers excellent exposure to various aspects complex uro-oncology with emphasis on Robotic Pelvic Oncology.

There is plenty of opportunity to participate in the ongoing research and there is an active post-graduate teaching programme. The successful applicant is expected to present in international conferences and publish at least one original paper in a reputable urological journal.

North Bristol NHS Trust has teaching status and is linked with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.

It is desirable that candidates have experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent.

Overseas applicants are expected to be eligible for registration with the General Medical Council and have passed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum overall score of 7.5. This must be clearly outlined in their application. Please check the GMC website for details.
