Senior Clinical Fellow in Endourology (ST6+)

The Bristol Urological Institute wishes to offer an exciting opportunity to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Urology with special interest in Endourology to commence in April 2019 for a period of 12 months. The post could rotate after 6 months to work with the upper tract oncology team depending on the successful applicant’s learning objectives.

The post is best suited for trainees at the end of their urological training or post-CCT and wish to pursue a sub-specialty career in Endourology. The post offers excellent exposure to various aspects of upper tract laparoscopy, management of upper tract TCC and complex stone surgery.

There is plenty of opportunity to participate in the ongoing research in the department and there is an active post-graduate teaching programme.

North Bristol NHS Trust has teaching status and is linked with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.

It is desirable that candidates have experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent.

Overseas applicants are expected to be eligible for registration with the General Medical Council and have passed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum overall score of 7.5. This must be clearly outlined in their application. Please check the GMC website for details.
