Clinical Research Fellow in Urology ST3+ 

The Bristol Urological Institute wishes to appoint a Clinical Research Fellow in Urology to commence as soon as possible, initially for one year with further extension dependent on satisfactory progress. 

The successful candidate will have dedicated research sessions and will be encourage to undertake a structured research project leading to a higher degree (MD Res or PhD). There is a general urology commitment as part of this post which will occupy 4 sessions per week.

The BUI has an established record in conducting leading research and the post-holder will be well supported both clinically and academically.

This post is best suited for candidates wishing to take time out of training to gain a higher degree or those more junior trainees wishing to spend a period in research while consolidating their urological experience before entering into a Higher Surgical Training Programme.

Previous “hands on” UK experience, or equivalent, and MRCS is essential.  North Bristol NHS Trust has teaching status and is linked with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.
