Full Registration with the GMC is essential. The posts are based at Southmead. The Trust has teaching status and is linked with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England. Experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent is essential. The local catchment population is approximately 500,000 but specialist services are also offered more widely across the region. The foot and ankle service covers all aspects of foot and ankle care and accepts tertiary referrals from a wide region.
Candidates must have, or be eligible for, GMC registration that allows them to work in posts that are not recognised for training. If in a training post this post is recognised for off programme training. Successful candidates will undergo training, appraisal and assessment. It is desirable that candidates have experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent.
