Senior Programme Manager - Estate Strategy Implementation (8b) – Job Advert
Can you quickly build strong relationships and drive forward programmes and projects in complex environments?
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Programme Manager to join our Sustainable Health and Capital Planning team to lead a number of projects which are key components of our estate strategy. You will play a lead role in driving forward schemes within our capital programme and will have the opportunity to work with teams within health, the public and private sector and commercial partners to deliver projects that provide additional facilities or improve utilisation of the Trust’s estate. You will need strong influencing skills, charisma and pragmatism to encourage people to buy in to the Estate Strategy vision.
You will be pivotal in ensuring projects and programmes are well planned, co-ordinated and their benefits delivered. You will be expected to use your knowledge and experience to deliver projects within quality, cost and time constraints and your personal style to bring stakeholders on board to ensure successful implementation.
In order to be successful in this position, you will need to be resilient and have the ability to easily flex your approach in a changing environment. We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in programme management and with a good understanding of how to engage others to deliver successful, often contentious, projects and programmes. Prior knowledge and experience of commercial and business development would be an advantage for this position.
You will report to the Head of Sustainable Health & Capital Planning and will have line management responsibility for staff within the Arts Programme and Sustainable Development teams.
