We are delighted to invite applications for a fully funded fixed term 3 year research fellowship in complex airways disease (COPD & Asthma) at the Academic Respiratory unit, Southmead Hospital Bristol. Research opportunities are available in several areas and will be designed to suit the interests of the successful candidate. They include COPD epidemiology (in collaboration the University of Bristol MRC integrated epidemiology unit),  severe asthma (digital health & phenotyping) and lung volume reduction in advanced emphysema.   The post will also entail regular attendance at the dedicated weekly airways clinic and procedure list. Opportunities will be provided for specialist training in the assessment and management of severe asthma and advanced emphysema (including lung volume reduction).

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
