Research Administrator- stroke research

Band 4 subject to exp

Full time fixed term 6 months, however may be extended subject to funding

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Research administrator to work across our stroke / Acute care research team, based  at Southmead Hospital.

The Research administrator will work to support the research nurses and other trials staff with the routine day-to-day administration of research studies and their associated work and to facilitate the optimum recruitment of patients to clinical trials.

Additionally the post holder will manage the invoicing for the teams and help log and track study finances where appropriate

We are looking for someone with good generic administrative experience, competence in the use of MS applications and confident with overseeing study finance documentation.

Experience in a research environment would be advantageous.

The post offers a great opportunity for those who wish to build on their existing experience in research or someone looking to develop their careers in this area

This position is fixed term for six months in the first instance and may be extended subject to funding
