Band 4 Research Administrator

Fixed Term Contract

22.5hrs per week for an 8month period

Research & Innovation are looking to recruit an administrator to work within our established Maternity research team for an 8 month fixed term post for 0.6 WTE (22.5hrs)

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a well established research team which offers a friendly and supportive work environment.

The successful applicant will provide administrative support for the smooth running of a study currently recruiting within the Maternity unit and be a contact point for professionals and research participants

The post is suitable for someone who is self-motivated, organised, accurate and efficient with good communication skills and IT skills.

The individual will primarily support the delivery of the ASSIST device and core duties will include:

  • Day-to -day management of the trial databases
  • Assisting in the management of finances
  • Organisation of meetings
  • Producing accurate minutes of meetings
  • General administration relating to the trial
  • Accurate data entry

This appointment is offered on a fixed term basis to accomplish to support the ASSIST study which is expected to last for a discrete period of time and is research grant funded. North Bristol Trust cannot guarantee at this present time to extend or renew it beyond its expiry.
