6 month Secondment Opportunity
Ever wondered whether a career in research nursing is for you??
We are looking for a registered nurse to join our respiratory research team for a 6 month secondment.
This is a great opportunity to learn about research and be involved in research delivery at NBT!
We are looking for a nurse with good respiratory knowledge and relevant clinical skills including venepuncture.
You will be part of a hardworking, motivated and dynamic team and will be well supported in developing your research knowledge and competencies.
The Respiratory Research team has a varied and interesting portfolio of studies in ILD, pleural disease and lung cancer and this role will support the team in the management and deliver of them. Responsibilities will include;
- Identification and recruitment of study participants.
- Performing trial visits, assessing and monitoring patients throughout the trial according to protocol.
- Accurate completion of data entry into case report forms and site files.
- Management of trial databases
- Reporting of adverse event in accordance with NBT adverse event reporting policy.
- Communicating with other health care professionals about patient care and co-ordinating patient visits
On appointment you will develop skills and competence to deliver trials in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines and work on the NBT research competencies.
