North Bristol NHS Trust
Our large and modern hospital has just under 1,000 beds and employs more than 8,000 staff. Each year we see almost 100,000 A&E attendances, perform close to 40,000 operations and conduct more than 500,000 outpatient appointments. We are a regional centre for Trauma and other specialities and host Severn Pathology Network. Our Genomics Laboratory Hub will be at the centre of developing the new Genomics Medicine Service across the South West of England. Our most recent CQC inspection rated the hospital as Good overall and Outstanding for the well led domain.
The role
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who enjoys working as part of a team and independently. You will be administering private and overseas patient procedures and ensuring income is maximised from private and overseas patient sources. You will be involved in the day to day running of the office, including processing and analysing data to ensure all relevant patient activity is captured and acted upon. This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week
You will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy, good interpersonal skills, an aptitude for working with a wide range of computer systems, an ability to work methodically and be prepared to work with a high degree of flexibility.
