Band 6 MSK/Pelvic Health Outpatient Physiotherapist
Substantive. -1 wte -37.5 hours
Monday – Friday with some weekend commitments
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Outpatient Physiotherapy Team at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. This substantive post is 37.5 hours per week and involves working in a split role between the Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Teams.
The successful post holder will be part of a dynamic, effective team, providing a high standard of clinical care to patients attending the musculoskeletal outpatients department. The Pelvic Health role would involve an obstetric focus initially with the potential to take on other areas of the pelvic health physiotherapy pathway if required. Additional training would be provided for this if necessary.
We are a large Acute Trust with outpatient specialties including MSK, Hydrotherapy, Rheumatology, Pelvic Health and Paediatrics. We have recently moved into a new hospital building and have a purpose built department .The successful candidate will be be professional and efficient with excellent communication, clinical reasoning, mentoring and problem-solving skills alongside competency with IT.
You must be HCPC registered with experience of working in MSK outpatients. Specific women’s health experience is desirable. As part of your job role you will be expected to travel to local antenatal groups.
We are looking for an excellent team player who is flexible, dynamic and open to change. In return we will provide clinical supervision, opportunities and development through a well-developed supervision structure including clinical leads in both MSK and Women’s health. There is an expectation to assist with weekend orthopaedic rotas. Job shares will be considered for this role.
