We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking physiotherapist with relevant neurological and stroke experience to join our Stroke  Early Supported Discharge Team.

North Bristol Trust has established Early Supported Discharge team that supports patients who are discharged from the Brunel Building. This involves treating patients in their own homes or in other settings.

The post holder will have the opportunity to further  develop their stroke skills in this specialised  and experienced stroke team. There will be opportunities for CPD and regular supervision.

In addition, the successful candidate will need to be able to participate in the supervision and teaching of other members of the ESD and wider stroke team including support staff, and physiotherapy students.  The post holder will work on the stroke weekend and bank-holiday rota.

The post-holder will need knowledge and experience in the treatment and management of stroke and neurological patients and a problem solving approach to patient management, advanced communication and interpersonal skills plus the ability to support and work in a multi-disciplinary team.
