Band 8B Pharmacist Clinical Team Manager
North Bristol NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical hospital pharmacist with good leadership and management skills, to further develop their career.
You will be leading and managing a team of pharmacists for the Division of Anaesthetics, Surgery, Critical Care and Renal (ASCCR). Working closely with the Principal Pharmacist Clinical Services, and other divisional Pharmacy leads, you will ensure that clinical pharmacy at NBT continues to develop its high quality service in line with our STP and hospital medicine optimisation plans.
We are looking for a pharmacist with an enthusiasm for service development and innovative ways to improve patient flow and optimise resources. The post holder must have good communication skills and be able to manage time and prioritise work effectively, to trouble shoot day to day issues as well as working closely with pharmacy colleagues and the division on strategic plans. You will have a clinical ward commitment as well as the need to provide sessional dispensary support. This is a full time post.
The Brunel Building, Southmead Hospital, is one of Europe’s best hospital buildings, and is a new state-of-the-art facility which has 806 acute beds of which 75% are single rooms. We are a large teaching hospital with a major trauma centre and specialties in neurosciences, orthopaedics, renal medicine and transplantation, infectious diseases/HIV, burns and plastics plus general medicine and surgery.
