An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Improvement Manager at Band 7.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have strong experience in delivering improvement, who are dedicated, and who are keen to be involved in high profile work at NBT. If this sounds like you please do get in touch.

This role sits on a permanent basis within the trust’s Transformation Team and is aligned with the Perform Team, however for the initial 12 months, the role will focus on providing specific and autonomous support to the Core Clinical Services division and will therefore report to the Divisional Operations Director on a day-to-day basis. The post holder will, however, not be totally on their own and will be encouraged to access peer mentoring from colleagues in the Perform team and other improvement teams in order to ensure a unified approach and that appropriate support is available.

The organisation is on the cusp of large scale transformational change; with an ambitious 5-year trust strategy and transformation plan having been developed which will involve large amounts of change to the way that individuals and teams work. You have the opportunity to be a key part of that and examples of initial key projects you may be aligned to are a review of the workflow of the pathology sample reception and  optimisation of the therapy workforce model.

We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of NBT’s Perform approach and it would be desirable for the individual to experience of implementing and using the Perform approach along with a good understanding of the processes of the Core Clinical Services division.
