The Patient Safety Midwife will be responsible for supporting the Patient Safety and Clinical Governance Lead in leading the clinical governance agenda in Women and Children's Health Division at North Bristol Trust.
Responsibilities will include reviewing case records, participating in investigations of incidents and near misses, and sharing the learning from risk and audit. The post holder will be expected to work in the clinical area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Maternity Guidelines process and Maternity Audit programme under supervision of the Clinical Governance lead. They will be expected to work closely with the Practice Development, Maternity Clinical Team, Medical staff and the Directorate Clinical Governance Lead to support Women's and Children's Division in achieving and maintaining safe and high standards of care.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
