Band 4 Waiting List Coordinator - Full Time - 9am -5pm.
An exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Waiting List Coordinator has arisen in the Orthopaedic Department at Southmead Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and booking Consultant theatre lists.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. Ideally we are looking for someone who has NHS experience and in particular managing waiting lists/booking of theatre lists.
The successful candidate would need to have exceptional organisational skills, eye for detail and be able to prioritise changing workloads.
Responsibilities would include organising theatre workloads ensuring that theatre lists are utilised and that any capacity issues are escalated in a timely manner to the Performance & Operations Manager as well as adhering to NHS England RTT guidelines.
The post holder should have knowledge of RTT (Referral to Treatment) as well as sound knowledge of the BNSSG Patient Access Policy. Training will be provided.
The post holder will ensure that at all times the principles of our values are upheld and that he/she is an ambassador for the Trust by being caring, helpful, open & honest and demonstrating high levels of teamwork.
This is a fixed term / secondment post until 31st October2018.
