An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Orthopaedic Spinal team at Southmead Hospital for a full time Audio Typist/Administrator.
The successful candidate must have previous experience of audio typing and have a sound knowledge of IT packages in MS Office & Windows. The role requires someone who has a great attention to detail and great organisational skills for working in a fast paced, busy department.
The post holder will be required to undertake a high volume of audio typing of clinics, discharge summaries and patient letters following clinic or inpatient stay. The role will also include answering the telephone and dealing with queries from patients, relatives & clinical staff as well as supporting the medical secretarial and MDT team with admin duties.
