The Head of Patient Experience is a key member of the Corporate Nursing and Quality Leadership Team , is professionally accountable to the Executive Director of Nursing & Quality and will lead the development of the Patient Experience Strategy ensuring that the views of patients, carers, members of the public, and external stakeholders inform future service delivery.
As Head of Patient Experience the post holder is responsible for strategic and operational management of
- Patient, visitor and carer experiences
- Public Involvement including Health watch
- Equality and Diversity (patient and public)
- Patient Relations Team (concerns and complaints)
- Voluntary services
- Chaplaincy services
- Bereavement services
- Dementia services
The post holder will hold delegated responsibility for areas of practice from the Executive Director of Nursing & Quality and will have the opportunity to participate in system work across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucester.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and credible leader with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver the highest possible clinical and professional standards. You will be a clinical role model and will be passionate about improvement and patient-centred care. You will possess relevant professional qualifications plus additional specialist management knowledge, acquired through training and experience.
