An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the North Bristol Trust to join a team of Clinical/Counselling psychologists within the Surgical Division as a Clinical /Counselling Psychologist.

The post holder will be embedded in the Weight Assessment and Management team within the surgical directorate; however they will be part of a wider network of psychologists working across the Trust. The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team working in the specialist service of weight management and bariatric surgery. The post holder will be required to undertake assessments and interventions for patients referred to the weight management service and provide individual interventions for out-patients experiencing psychological difficulties as a consequence of obesity.

This opportunity is for a band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for a part-time permanent role for 22.5 hours.

The role is based at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. It is a great opportunity for you to live and work in Bristol; a city in the hills of South west England, with its own thriving art, music and cultural scene hosting a number of exciting annual festivals such as the Bristol International balloon Fiesta and the Bristol harbour Festival.
