An exciting opportunity has arisen in our well established sonography team within Antenatal Clinic in Southmead Hospital, Bristol. We are a large maternity unit undertaking approximately 6,300 births per year and are wishing to expand our Obstetric scanning department.

We would expect the successful candidate to be able to perform a wide range of Obstetric scans to include First trimester combined screening and dating scans. Anomaly scans, growths scans and Umbilical Artery Doppler.

Any trained staff holding the MSc in Medical Ultrasound  minimum PGECert including the Obstetric module who may require updating or refreshing in any of the above scans would be fully supported until competent and confident.

The team is made up of Midwife and Radiographer sonographers and welcome any sonographers suitably trained. We are a stand alone service and do not rotate our staff through main radiology.

We have an expanding fetal medicine department working closely along side us that we liaise with providing support and guidance as required.

Part time hours considered.
