The IT Technology Services Team within North Bristol NHS Trust are moving the digital agenda forward with a number of key projects including the upgrade of its Enterprise Network, deployment of Windows 10, including Azure desktops and migration to the Office 365 platform.

These are exciting transformations and it is key that they are implemented and maintained in a Cyber Secure and Resilient manner alongside our existing infrastructure. To do this we are seeking a technically experienced, cyber security focused individual who will provide lead specialist advice and support to members of the infrastructure team and the wider organisation, as well as continuing to apply their hands-on technical skills.

The ideal candidate will have all-round technical experience across the widespread technologies in use with the trust as well as Cyber Security expertise e.g.-

- Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH
- Scripting and other technologies used to automate cyber security processes
- Splunk
- Windows ATP
- Solarwinds
- Cisco Networking
- Palo alto protection devices
- Windows Server Operating Systems and technologies including Active Directory
- Windows Client Operating Systems
- Microsoft Office 365
- VM Ware
- Dell/EMC Unity and Isilon storage

This is a substantive full time, 37.5 hours per week, position.
