Clinical Fellow in Infection Sciences (Medical Microbiology)
(Full Time or Part Time)
The opportunity for a Clinical Fellowship has arisen for a period of 6 months, commencing 25th March 2019. This post will be based at North Bristol NHS Trust, Southmead Hospital in Infection Sciences (Medical Microbiology). The department is a large and highly regarded department providing excellent educational opportunities and experience in the infection issues related to patients in all the major specialties but also Burns and Plastics, Renal Transplantation, Major Trauma and Neurosurgery. This would be an ideal opportunity to experience working in a tertiary referral centre with a prominent Microbiology department and would suit those interested in a career in Infection Specialties or those with experience who want to extend their knowledge.
Full Registration with the GMC is essential. The post is based at Southmead Hospital. The Trust has teaching status and is linked with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England. The appointee will be required to reside not more than 30 minutes travel by road from Southmead Hospital, Bristol, for on-call purposes. Salary Range: £31,217 - £41,300 - Also attracts a 1B (40%) banding supplement.
