Post: Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Developer

The IM&T team within North Bristol Trust are moving the digital agenda forward with a number of key projects including the implementation of an electronic document management system and a move to paper-light processes.

These are exciting and forward thinking digital transformations that we need people to assist us in delivering by covering electronic patient record developments and automations such as:

- Analysing clinical staff requirements in order to devise system based changes and enhancements
- Designing and building system changes in the core EPR (Lorenzo; training available)
- Offering subject matter expertise and guidance to ensure system developments will meet the user requirements
- Passing on knowledge and standard operating processes to the Clinical Systems Administration (Back Office) team
- To build and maintain automation solutions and scripts that interact with core systems

As our ideal candidate, you will have advanced knowledge of Lorenzo Electronic Patient Record Systems, however, candidates with experience in similar functions, such as GP systems configuration and other secondary care patient record systems will be considered.

In addition to our future developments, we also have a number of existing systems based on the Microsoft development stack that will require minor application support during transition; for this reason the exceptional candidate would also have a working knowledge of SQL and C# but this is not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of NBT clinical systems and to be part of our success at North Bristol NHS Trust, a progressive and ambitious teaching and research organisation with a strong reputation for exceptional healthcare, personally delivered.
