Job overview

We are delighted to offer experienced Band 2 HCA's a rotational post with B3 training.

This exciting new post will rotate on a 6 monthly basis between Gate 32A _ Acute Frailty admissions and Gate 28B Short stay frailty/Medicine and Endocrine. 

The role may interest Band 2 HCA's looking to develop their careers in nursing and provide several speciality learning experiences within the one post.

If you do not hold a Band 3 HCA qualification it would be essential that you would be willing and able to study for your Band 3.   

This would be onsite at NBT, and subject to pre employment tests. 

Main duties of the job

All aspects of the band 2 role 

Including but not inclusive of supporting patients with all aspects of daily living, enablement, pressure area care, care at the end of life and clinical skills. 

The training will be at NVQ level 3 in Health Care.

Gate 32A and Gate 28B work closely together to form a short stay frailty pathway, should yo have a keen interest in the whole patient journey we may also be able to offer you some additional experience in another area on the patient journey.
