Cotswold ward- Gynaecology at Southmead Hospital.
Both part time and full time positions available/considered.
Do you have an interest in women's and children's health?
We are looking to recruit forward thinking, driven and talented nurses to join our exceptional team in gynaecology at Southmead hospital.
Within our women's and children's health service on Cotswold ward, we strive to deliver safe and exceptional care in our 19 bedded inpatient unit , 10 bedded day case unit and outpatient department. Our bed base in times of escalation can fluctuate and increase to 25 inpatient beds- These maybe occupied by a variety of specialities including obstetrics, medicine and/or surgery.
We are a busy gynaecology ward with two operating theatres running busy lists Monday to Friday. We have an emergency gynaecology clinic running every afternoon as well as allocated major take during the week and once a month over the weekend. Our outpatient department includes a variety of clinics, including early pregnancy clinic, Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy and general gynae outpatients.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
