There is a new development opportunity available for a Band 2 Health Care Assistants wishing to progress to Band 3 training roles within NMSK

We are looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants who have a passion for working in the health care sector and who are able to demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and development and safe patient care. You will be a high performing individual who is flexible and driven by the exciting challenges that lie ahead while demonstrating that you can live the Trusts values.
We are looking to recruit to full and part time roles on a substantive basis. You will need to be flexible to accommodate the various shift times and patterns within the Trust.
Training is provided by North Bristol NHS Trust vocational education centre and will consist of both on the job and classroom based learning. Learners who require Functional Skills qualification will receive this training as part of your qualification.
Learners will be given one study day per month and will be allocated a dedicated assessor from the centre, along with support from your workplace. Additional study days will be required for clinical skills.
The qualification you receive will be a Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support; this will take 18 months to complete.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
