We would like to recruit fully qualified GPs to come and work within our Emergency Department (ED). Southmead ED is a large Adult ED and  major trauma centre. Rated ‘Good’ by CQC with a dynamic and committed leadership with 15 consultants and 20 Band 7 sisters, over 90% of staff would want their friends and family treated here. Any GPs wanting to join this enthusiastic team will be working primarily in the Ambulatory Majors part of the department, seeing patients requiring a range of primary and secondary care skills. They will be part of the ED workforce, working under the ED governance framework. Hours of work are negotiable but must fall within the hours of 16.00 – 24.00, any day of the week (including weekends). Rates of pay comparable to GP rates and will be dependent on experience with enhancements for out of hours working.
