Assistant Management Accountant - Band 4
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join the Finance team at North Bristol NHS Trust.
North Bristol NHS Trust is a progressive and ambitious teaching and research organisation, and a specialist regional centre for major trauma, neurosciences, plastics and burns, orthopedics and renal services. With a turnover of £550m and 9,000 staff, our clinical teams have built a strong reputation for exceptional healthcare, personally delivered.
We are working together to create the environment for exceptional healthcare – our acute services moved into the brand new, £430 million state of the art Brunel Building in May 2014. This new 800 bed hospital at the Southmead site offers patients single rooms with en-suite facilities, greatly improving privacy and dignity and helping to control the spread of infections. We are currently undergoing one of the largest transformation programmes in the NHS, at the heart of what we do is a caring and compassionate workforce.
We are looking for an ambitious self-starter to join the Management Accounting team. They will work closely with colleagues to provide outstanding financial support and information to a number of the Trust’s Directorates. This role represents an excellent opportunity to develop your management accounting skills within a large and complex organisation.
The successful candidate will be pro-active, comfortable with working with a wide range of people, both from a finance and non-finance background, and able to work autonomously. Attention to detail and an ability to work to deadlines are essential.
