Contract Income Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated finance professional to join the Finance team at North Bristol Hospital NHS Trust.

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative self-starter to support the timely and accurate production of financial and activity information which required understanding, interpretation and analysis. You will support the team to investigate and resolve queries from external and internal finance and commissioning staff and pursue corrective action in consultation with the team as well as managing the commissioner income inputs into the ledger.

This will be a challenging and rewarding role and will give successful applicants a broad range of professional development and experience of the activities of a busy teaching hospital.

We would consider appointing to this role on either a substantive or fixed term basis and the contractual arrangement on offer would be confirmed as part of the recruitment and selection process.

You should be a qualified/part qualified CCAB accountant with a good track record of delivering results within a large complex environment, excellent excel skills and have extensive experience in ledger accounting including invoicing, reconciliations, financial systems and ledgers.
