An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated finance professional to join the Finance department at North Bristol Hospital NHS Trust as part of a dedicated team to support the implementation of a new costing system.
This post will be fixed term for a period of 12 months at the end of which there may be the opportunity to become part of the permanent costing team within the department for the right candidate.
We are looking for a dedicated and innovative self-starter to support the implementation of a new costing system within the Trust in order to provide the delivery of a high quality, efficient and timely costing service within a busy acute teaching hospital, liaising with directorates and corporate departments when required.
This will be a challenging and rewarding role and will give successful applicants a very broad range of professional development and experience of the activities of a busy teaching hospital.
You must be a qualified/part qualified CCAB accountant with experience of costing within the NHS and a good track record of delivering results within a large complex environment.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
