Graduate Sustainable Healthcare Engagement Coordinator, NHS, Bristol, to £19.6K (subject to banding) + excellent NHS benefits

Graduate Sustainable Healthcare Engagement Coordinator required by one of the UK’s largest NHS Hospital Trusts. You’ll have a unique opportunity to work within an award-winning team on sustainability-related engagement projects as part of the Sustainable Healthcare campaign. You’ll be based at Southmead Hospital with a basic of up to £19.6K + excellent NHS benefits and training opportunities.

THE ROLE: As the Graduate Sustainable Healthcare Engagement Coordinator you will run the staff award scheme Green Impact and co-ordinate the engagement activities of the Sustainable Development Unit with main duties being to:

  • Engage and recruit teams onto the award scheme
  • Organise awareness-raising activities and events
  • Produce Trust-wide communications on sustainability
  • Help the Trust celebrate national sustainability events

…and support colleagues in the Sustainable Development Unit to maximise the impact of our messages.

YOU: The successful Graduate Sustainable Healthcare Engagement Coordinator will have:

  • Good communication skills
  • A passion for the environment, sustainability and health and wellbeing
  • A willingness to try new approaches to engage people
  • The ability to persuade and negotiate with people
