The role of Capital Medical Equipment Manager has recently been reviewed and developed in this form to consolidate and support NBT’s capital medical equipment agenda and help build further on the work that has been undertaken to date. In particular the post holder will play a part in advancing NBT’s aim of strengthening its decision making capabilities in relation to its capital medical equipment budget setting, whilst at the same time helping promote compliance and increase the Trust’s existing capabilities with regard to specifying its requirements and evaluating equipment offers from the market.

This is a hybrid role that requires a flexible and resilient post-holder with a commitment to achieving quality through driving robust processes and widely sharing good practice.

The successful candidate will be able and expected to display the following attributes:
