Dialysis Support Housekeeper Post - 15 hours per week
Are you looking for a new role, or considering a change, which would enable you to develop new skills and contribute to the support of patients undergoing kidney dialysis? We are looking for caring and motivated people to work within our satellite unit in Bristol. The key responsibilities of this role are: Supporting staff in caring for patients who are undergoing kidney dialysis treatment in an outpatient unit this includes: Preparing the dialysis area and making sure all equipment is readily available; assisting patients with a range of mobility needs to their treatment chairs; making them comfortable and serving beverages; assisting in maintaining a high standard of hygiene, through cleaning patient’s machine and chairs on completion of treatment; assist with stores ordering, replenishing and maintaining stock levels; ensuring a safe environment through maintaining a tidy and clean unit.
The Dialysis Unit is open 6 days a week and closed on Sunday. Opening hours are 06.30hrs till 12.15am. We would welcome you to visit the unit and meet the team to gain a greater understanding of the role and what it involves. We presently have vacancies at our unit in:

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
