    • Located in the vibrant city of Bristol, the new Southmead hospital has one of the biggest and busiest Intensive Care units in the country with a 48 bedded state of the art facility offering regional specialities including trauma, burns and plastics, renal transplant, neuro, vascular and complex elective surgery. Our committed and talented team are highly focused on delivering excellent, high quality care and this is reflected in our national profile. We are now looking to recruit to our Senior nursing team at Band 7 . This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront as part of a Senior team leading 200 nurses delivering excellent, high quality and safe patient care. We are looking for an inspirational, proactive and confident clinical practitioner who has a proven track record of managing change in a challenging healthcare environment. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills, assume responsibility and demonstrate a commitment to consistently maintaining high clinical standards. They will be expected to actively participate in teaching nursing staff both pre and post registration. We will offer you a new challenge in a forward thinking environment with opportunities to continue your professional development with support from North Bristol NHS Trust’s established Management programme. The unit has a designated SIM training suite and you will be able to contribute to the ongoing education programme with plans to develop across the region.
