We are looking to recruit into an exciting and challenging role in our Outpatients team. This role will have a vital part to play in all parts of outpatients administration, serving as great experience for those looking to build a career in the NHS.

As a member of the Outpatients team, the post holder will have responsibility for answering a wide variety of calls and queries from patients, be challenged with high volume and pressurised administration tasks across a number of specialties in the trust, and be expected to work to a high level of performance on administrative tasks. We will support you in developing expert skills in Outpatients administration, giving you an excellent grounding for your personal and professional development.

Reporting to the Outpatients Team Leader the post holder will ensure the responsive and professional standards of the North Bristol Outpatients Team are maintained at all times.

We are looking for talented individuals willing to work hard, with a positive attitude and with a flexible approach to change who can make a significant contribution to the important work of this highly performing team.

This post is ideally suited to those looking to progress their career in the NHS and are able to demonstrate potential for future management roles.

Band 2 payscale: £15,404 - £18,157 pa (£7.89 - £9.31 per hour) for those meeting the full requirements of the post as detailed in the person specification excluding unsocial hours or overtime payments.
Where this is not the case and training is required for the post the salary will start at £13,617 pa (£6.98 per hour) excluding unsocial hours or overtime payments.
