Pharmacy Technician / Logistics Co-ordinator

A post  has become available for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician / Logistics Co-ordinator, this is a great opportunity  for someone who is patient focussed, concerned about patient safety and the supply of medication.

The post holder will be responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the supply of medication via a courier service to vulnerable patients, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and the legal framework for the supply of medicines to ensure a safe, effective and timely service in accordance with current legislation and guidance.

The service which was setup at the start of the Covid restrictions in March 2020, has been very successful and to date has delivered medication to nearly 1500 vulnerable /self-isolating Patients.

The post will also include assisting the dispensary management team in the smooth running of the dispensary service to ensure a safe, effective and timely service in accordance with current legislation and guidance,  including the final accuracy check of dispensed medication.
