Band 6 Radiographer in CT
Fixed term contract 12 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the CT team at North Bristol Trust, one of the UK’s largest NHS Hospital Trusts. Based at Southmead Hospital, you will be responsible for supporting the CT management team to deliver CT services for patients and users in North Bristol NHS Trust, ensuring the delivery is professional and patient centered.
The CT Band 6 Radiographer position is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within a busy CT department. Southmead Hospital is a regional Trauma Centre and has Regional specialties including Neurosurgery and Urology. North Bristol Trust has four CT scanners on the main hospital site and one located at a community site.
Potential candidates must have at least one years’ experience of working within the CT modality and have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience. This is not a CT training post. The successful candidate will be expected to have enough CT experience to be able to take an active role in the department after a short period of departmental orientation. You will also take an active role in the departmental shift system and out of hour’s roster including night duties.
We are looking for enthusiastic hardworking individuals with a `can do` attitude to support the CT team. The successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and will be able to perform a wide range of CT examinations and have experience in inpatient, outpatient and Emergency department scanning. Evidence of CPD required.
Bristol is well served by road, rail air and cycling links making it ideally placed for access to South Wales, the West Country and further afield. Bristol and Bath are also well served with theatre, cinema and leisure facilities.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
