Pharmacy Team Manager Clinical Trials & Research - Band 7
37.5 hours per week
Band 7: £33,222 to £43,041 per annum

We are seeking a clinical pharmacist or pharmacy technician with drive, motivation and enthusiasm to build upon existing management experience to lead and develop this specialist service. You will be responsible for the professional leadership and management of clinical trials staff. The current portfolio consists of approximately 120 open trials, including commercial and non-commercial. Continued compliance to regulatory standards (e.g. ICH Good Clinical Practice) must be assured.
You must have robust interpersonal and communication skills to engage and build a close working relationship with others. You will work closely with the Trust Research & Innovation Department and trial investigators to assess feasibility and “set up”, manage all appropriate documentation and ensure financial control. You will control workload and resource allocation against capacity, including close working with the dispensary and Technical Services management teams. In terms of research, you will encourage, advise, facilitate and support all individuals within NBT Pharmacy planning or undertaking work.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
