Band3 Physiotherapy Outpatient technician –Experience needed

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Outpatient MSK Physiotherapy Team at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. We have a fixed term Band 3 post, 37.5 hours per week for 6 months, with an expectation to assist with weekend orthopaedic rotas.
The successful post holders will be part of a dynamic, effective team, providing a high standard of clinical care to patients attending the musculoskeletal outpatients department. We are a large acute trust with outpatient specialties including MSK, Hydrotherapy, Rheumatology, Women’s Health and Paediatrics. The post will be based in the physio outpatient department and will include treatment patients on a one to one and group basis, as well as assistance in hydrotherapy and other specialist outpatient areas.

Support and training will be provided for the right applicant with the relevant background experience.

1. Must have completed Vocational Qualification level 3 in Health or experiential learning experience/ competency to a similar level.
2. Numeracy and Literacy Level 2.
3. IT skills, basic Word, Email, keyboard skills, data collection.
4. Experience of working in the health care environment.
5. Ability to undertake appropriate training for required clinical activities, which may vary according to workplace area.
6. Demonstration of caring and compassionate attributes
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
