We are recruiting to a Clinical Governance Project Support Manager role (Band 5), which is a new 9-month Fixed Term basis to support the Clinical Governance Improvement Programme across the Trust. The role is a full-time post and will be based either in the Trust Headquarters or Beaufort House on the Southmead Hospital Site.

This is a key role within the Project team currently being established to support the delivery of agreed actions identified within recently published GE Healthcare and Royal College of Surgeons reports about the Trust’s Clinical Governance. It will help to embed key principles in the divisional and corporate clinical governance frameworks.

The role will provide high quality project and administrative support including information and analysis to support delivery of the programme’s objectives. It will require the post holder to work flexibly at both a service line level within the clinical divisions and with corporate teams, particularly within the clinical governance directorate, depending on identified priorities and support required across the organisation

You will need to be highly organised, excellent at working with a range of clinical and non-clinical staff with strong data handling and analytical skills to provide timely and effective project support and reporting. You will also need to develop support tools, templates and administrative support structures to inform the operational processes necessary to underpin high quality clinical governance systems.

Applicants require a degree level education and/or equivalent proven working experience in project management or complex administrative settings and strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally and take the initiative within the context of project delivery requirements.

The role will report to the Associate Director of Quality Governance within Clinical Governance directorate for line management purposes, with strong links to other members of the Project team and senior management within the directorate. It provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge across a broad portfolio of subjects and to help shape the future delivery of strong clinical governance within the Trust.
