The role:

The post holder will lead the Charity’s Database and Regular Giving team with responsibility for delivery first class data management to support the development and growth of the Charity.

The Database manager will be responsible for data management best practice, including data quality standards, data security and protection, data hygiene, data import and export, data analysis including prospect and donor segmentation and providing highly detailed statistical models to the Charity team.

This is a brand new role and the postholder will be tasked to update, cleanse and segment all of the Charity’s data to enable critical activity to take place within the Charity, including donor centric communications, cultivation and stewardship of our supporters, fundraisers and volunteers.

Leading the Individual Giving Officer, the Database Manager will support them to grow and develop the Charity’s individual giving income through data driven analytics. The post holder will require comprehensive database management knowledge, communication skills with the ability to identify influential contacts both internally and externally.

Working closely with other colleagues, the ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, a passion for data led decision making, an enthusiasm for the NHS and be passionate about the difference a NHS charity can make.
