Bank Catering Ward Operative

NBT eXtra is the Internal Bank for North Bristol NHS Trust, and has an exciting opportunity for Bank Catering Ward Operatives to join our team.

Carrying out of duties in the central production kitchens, Restaurant or Ward Level Patient Meal Service. These duties include service of food, cleaning of premises and equipment, preparation of vegetables, fruit, salads, sandwiches, toast, beverages and other food items. It can involve taking of cash, mainly via the use of cash tills. Pot wash and working in the catering stores area. Full training is given before this duty is undertaken.

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
