North Bristol (NHS) Trust Apprenticeship team are looking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Business Administration and Customer Service Assessor/Teacher to deliver apprenticeships in these subject areas to staff within the NHS and its associated partners. You will take on an existing cohort of learners at various stages in their learning journey, at levels 2, 3 and 4, and help to assess and establish new learners on programme. You must be occupationally competent to teach and assess up to level 4.

With the exciting changes in apprenticeship standards, part of the role will be to develop new materials and course outlines for the delivery of new apprenticeship programmes. This will be undertaken in conjunction with other subject areas such as healthcare, and under supervision of the Apprenticeship Lead. You will also help to establish links with new areas for apprenticeship delivery and assist with the promotion of apprenticeship courses.

You should have a proven track record of facilitating learning for individuals and groups, ideally in a vocational setting. You should be familiar with the both new and existing apprenticeship standards in Business and Administration and Customer Service from levels 2 - 4 and have experience with processing the documentation and recording learning on electronic systems. You should be comfortable communicating effectively with learners, employers and colleagues in order to ensure a smooth and informed learning journey for the candidate.

Teaching and assessing will take place on site and in the workplace, so some travel may be required for external learners. Travel expenses can be claimed at £0.56 per mile.

NBT offers a generous benefits package on top of the advertised salary, including an NHS pension scheme, childcare facilities, staff discount brochure and an excellent personal and professional development plan.
