Electronic Document Management Project (EDMS)

The Health Records Department Needs You!

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Health Records Department, in the Trust’s journey in becoming a ‘paper lite’ hospital by scanning of its 1.2m health records. By making our paper health records digital, they will be available on line to clinicians and operational staff; to support them in providing better care to our patients.

The Health Records department is seeking proactive individuals with attention to detail, who can support the Health Records Department in preparing for EDMS this coming Spring.

The duties will include:

1. Locating and merging of temporary records prior to scanning
2. Accessing, reviewing and updating health records in Lorenzo
3. Collating loose health records paperwork
4. Filing of loose paperwork
5. Pulling and filing of health records
6. Supporting the substantive health records team in daily duties within the department

The role will primarily be based in our Health Records library off site in Cribbs Causeway. However there may be occasions where you would be required to work on site in our Brunel Records Hub (Level 0). The hours of work are:

Monday – Friday
Full time or job share
