This replacement post offers an exciting opportunity to join an already highly successful, clinical, analytical and research group with a national profile in anti-infective analysis and therapeutic drug monitoring as well as international standing in the area of pharmacokinetics and dynamics (PK-PD).

The Antimicrobial Reference Laboratory (ARL) at North Bristol NHS Trust provides a national antimicrobial assay service for the NHS and private sector. Housed in newly constructed Pathology laboratories, it is part of Infection Sciences which is a partnership between Public Health England and North Bristol NHS Trust to provide infection services in Bristol and the surrounding area. The ARL is currently staffed by two Clinical Scientists with a range of support staff.

Applicants should possess an MSc and/or PhD, and be registered as either a Clinical Scientist or Biomedical Scientist with the HCPC.
