Major Trauma Data Coordinator
Brunel Building, Southmead Hospital
Band 3, 37.5 hours per week

We are really pleased to be offering the opportunity to join the Major Trauma Team who provide a specialist service for those patients and their families affected within the Major Trauma Centre as a part of a wider Network of hospitals. The Severn Network focuses on coordinating patient pathways between providers over the Severn region to ensure access to specialist resources and expertise to improve outcomes for patients.
We are looking for a forward thinking, motivated individual who has an interest in quality and governance, demonstrating a focused approach to ensuring the delivery of high-quality data. The Major Trauma Data Coordinator will work alongside a multidisciplinary team inputting high quality clinical and activity data into the Trauma Audit Research Network data system and working collaboratively to rectify omissions. The coordinator will also undertake administrative duties for the Network management team.
You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, have experience of entering and retrieving data on information systems within the health sector and also experienced in using windows based software. You will require excellent interpersonal skills showing discretion when dealing with matters of a sensitive or confidential nature and able to work consistently to high levels of accuracy regardless of interruptions or distractions.
