North Bristol NHS Trust

Consultant in Acute Medicine

Applications are invited for a full time (10PA) Consultant to join our senior clinical team in the Directorate of Medicine at North Bristol NHS Trust. Prospective appointees should have experience within this field, with a CCT in Acute Medicine, full registration with the GMC and listed on the Specialist Register for General Medicine or Acute Medicine.

The successful applicant will be joining a team of existing Acute Medicine physicians, along with a highly motivated multidisciplinary team at a challenging yet exciting time of transformational change in service delivery.

Opportunities are available if you wish to work as either a part time or job share member of the team. We also welcome overseas applicants. But more than anything, we are hoping to meet Consultants who aren’t afraid to do things differently and who will relish the opportunity to be part of the AMU team.

We are based in the North of this buzzing and culturally rich city – if you move here it won’t take you long to discover everything that it has to offer. Bristol City Centre is just 15 minutes away, and has a great array of shops, theatres and places to eat, drink and socialise. As a place to work, our Trust couldn’t be better placed to boost your career with its teaching status and strong links with the University of Bristol and University of the West of England.

We’d love you to find out more. If you’d like to talk to us about joining the team or come and see what’s happening for yourself, please contact Dr Louise Powter on 0117 414 1141.

There will be a supplement for out of hours working.

Please note, North Bristol NHS Trust does not pay for interview expenses.

Late applications will not be accepted.

Please note, this vacancy is currently pending Royal College approval.

Committed to equal opportunities, job share applications welcome
