Registered Staff Nurse – Vascular Ward - Band 5 Up to £29.6k + Excellent NHS Benefits
Staff Nurses are required to work in our Vascular Ward 33B within the largest Division at North Bristol Trust. You will be working in our major Arterial centre where you will be responsible for the delivery of both elective and emergency vascular care.
You will be based at our state-of-the art £450m Southmead Hospital with a basic salary between £23,023 and £29,608 (AFC Band 5) dependent on experience/service, plus excellent NHS benefits.

THE ROLE – As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role within a team of nursing staff in the delivery of evidence based patient-centered care, which is of a high standard. Key duties will include:
- Being responsible for dressings wound care in all units
- Working closely with members of the multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
- Caring for all patients during their stay within ASCR pre and post operatively including any rehabilitation they may require.
- Liaising with community nurses in assisting patients prepared for home
- Caring for patients who require vascular therapy
- Embracing the core values of the Trust at all times
